So, about a month ago I started working with the MapQuest API trying to make it work with what we want to do at the office. Well, the first application was a copy paste and it went well, almost surprisingly too well. I worked with some out there that would not work from a copy paste standpoint and it was very frustrating, but as Dr. Phil might say “This ain’t about them!” or something like that anyway. So working with MapQuest my first application was the flash map. Just watching it appear on the screen was a blast. Okay so maybe that is an overstatement, but still, I was happy to watch it happen.
Next on the plate is to use GeoCoding and putting a Point Of Interest(POI) on the map.
